Lalor was running for Julie's Jungle while Molinaro was running for Abilities First. Lalor and Molinaro have announced that both will contribute $500 to the others' not-for-profit and are encouraging the community to contribute also.

You can donate online here or via mail by sending a check to: Abilities First 70 Overocker Rd. Poughkeepsie, NY 12603

"This was a fun event that showcased the beauty of our area and the vibrance of our residents. Marc and I pushed each other the whole race and because of him I ran faster than I thought I could. The winners of yesterday's races are the people who ran, those who cheered them on and, of course, two great local organizations Abilities First and Julie's Jungle," said Lalor. "Both organiztions are doing amazing work and I'm grateful for the opportunity to support them. The race was close and hard-fought. I'm looking forward to a rematch next year. Based on how my legs feel right now the rematch may have to be the 5K, but we'll see."

County Executive Molinaro said, "I thank Kieran for answering the call to #RunWithMe and for helping raise money for such two good causes, and I congratulate him on a great race. Though one of us crossed the finish line before the other, the real winners are Julie’s Jungle and Abilities First, each of which will receive a donation to continue their valued work. I enjoyed running with Kieran, and I look forward to a similarly picturesque run through Dutchess County next June."
